Our Projects
Start a project

Tell us what you want to build.

The first conversation is free and costs you nothing but an hour. Bring a plan, a photograph, a rough budget, or just the thing you keep thinking about.

Project enquiry

A few questions,
and we’ll come back to you.

Everything except your name, email and a line about the project is optional — but the more you tell us, the more useful our first reply will be.

What do you need?
What happens next

Three steps,
about two weeks.

  1. 01

    We read it and reply

A real answer from one of us within two working days — not an auto-response. If we are the wrong studio for the job we will say so, and usually suggest someone better suited.

  2. 02

We meet, on site if we can

An hour walking the place, or a call if it is early days. No charge, no obligation, and you will leave knowing whether the thing you want is actually possible.

  3. 03

    You get a written proposal

Scope, stages, a fixed fee for each, and a realistic programme. Nothing starts until you have read it and said yes.

Before you write

Quick answers.

Do I need to know my budget?

No, but a rough range helps enormously. It is the difference between us sketching something you can afford and something you cannot, and nobody enjoys the second conversation.

Is the first meeting really free?

Yes — one meeting, on site or at the studio, with no charge and nothing to sign. If you then want a written feasibility note before committing to a full project, that is a small fixed fee we deduct from the design fee later.

What should I bring?

Photographs, any drawings or deeds you have, and a list of what annoys you about the place today. That last one is usually the most useful document in the room.

Do you work outside your city?

Regularly. Travel is charged at cost and agreed up front. For projects far enough away that weekly site visits are not sensible, we set up a schedule of key inspections instead and are honest about it from the start.
